Getting help
Write to hello@dailyrecap.app. It is read by the person who made the app, and you will get a reply.
Adding a note by voice
You can add to your day without opening the app. In Shortcuts, make one with Dictate Text feeding Add to today, and name it Note. Then go to Settings, Accessibility, Touch, Back Tap, Double Tap, and pick it. Two taps on the back of the phone and you can talk. If you would rather not set anything up, say **"Hey Siri, add to Daily Recap"** — that works with nothing configured.
A recap failed
Your note is always written to the phone before anything is sent, so a failed recap never costs you what you wrote. Open the day and press Recap again. If it keeps failing without a connection, that is expected: writing and reading your days works offline, but making a recap does not.
Deleting your data
Everything lives on your iPhone. Settings, then **Delete everything and start over**, removes every day, note and recap immediately. Deleting the app does the same. There is no copy anywhere else, so neither can be undone.
Requirements
iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
